Caldmore Clean-up

Also as part of the Caldmore Village Festival activities, Bath Street Centre hosts and organises the Caldmore Clean-Up (aka Caldmore Tidy) around 4 times each year.

This venture is where local people go around the streets of Caldmore and serve the community by picking up litter and putting the rubbish in skips which get taken away at the end of the day. Numbers at the Clean-Up fluctuate, but we have had up to 80 volunteers of all ages helping at any one event.

The church organises which streets are to be cleaned on any one day, and plenty of us and our families go out in our high-visibility jackets to help the work. Our catering team provide a free hot lunch for all volunteers where we can get to know our local community much better.

The video gives you a flavour of the spirit of the Clean-Up events, as well as contains the dates for 2013
