Sunday Services

Dear Church Family,

With great sadness the church leaders are having to cancel all church ministries and meetings for the next few weeks. As you may know, churches across our nation are cancelling meetings following the government’s advice regarding the COVID-19 virus. These are short-term measures to protect the long-term health of our church community. We will review these measures as the situation develops. Please do pray for the leaders of the church as they seek God for wisdom about these matters.

However, the measures we must take do not stop us from being a family. The leaders are currently putting in place measures to care for and support our church community. We are also going to provide you with the messages that would have been preached on Sunday mornings along with Bible passages to read, songs to learn, prayer points and response questions to think through. Details will follow shortly about how you can access those.

Each week we will seek to provide our church family with resources and materials to bless you in this difficult time. The leaders are also exploring opportunities to stay connected in prayer.

The current isolation measures may create a series of challenges for many people. If you are unable to get the food and supplies you need, the church family will help. If you need this practical support, please contact Pastor Mark or email the church at

The church has been greatly blessed by the generous and sacrificial giving of its members for many years. A number give by standing order, but some give through the opportunities provided on Sunday mornings. If you are able to set aside the money that would have been given during Sunday services until we meet again, then we will seek to use whatever is given wisely.

If you are suffering from the known symptoms of the Coronavirus, please follow the government advice listed here:

If you have underlying health concerns or if you are over 70, please follow the advice listed here:

Please be sensible and safe over the next few weeks.

But also be steadfast in hope, faith and prayer as we look to the Lord for guidance and protection.

Listen to the comforting words of Psalm 91:

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
